No, since all of western Europe got taken out, the only thing remaining closer to the northern part was English Southwest, the same for the Maltese, there was no Italian or Greek left.

Very interesting, I had no idea this existed.


In the first century BC. The Roman Empire made this region part of its province of Gaul Belgium, following the conquest by Julius Caesar in 58 BC.

The Celtic population mixed with Roman immigrants. The region gained wealth, which can still be seen in the remains of Roman towns and villages. Roman rule ended when the Franks conquered the territory in the fifth century.

It was not the king of France, but the armies of the French Revolution who ended the independence of the states in the Saar region. After 1792 they conquered the region and made it part of the French Republic.

Capital of the free municipal consortium of Trapani, it is famous for its salt pans and salt mills, and for the Phoenician archaeological remains found on the islet of Motia (today San Pantaleón Island), located in front of these salt flats.

His former name was Drépano (Latin: Drepanum). For centuries the salt deposits and their industries have created a unique environment of great cultural and economic relevance. This route is called Via del Sale.

It passed to Rome and its name was Latinized to Drepanum.
