Alpine and dinaro pontid i think, you can see the French influence though so he sort of looks Belgian. What ethnicity is the older woman in the 6th photo? she resembles my mother a bit.

Possible CM influence is mostly visible on the browridge/compressed eye region, but that's why I speculated about the possible baltoid influence.

Nothing keltic (as keltic nordic) in that phenotype, completely different traits/skulls.

The Swabian part of Bavaria could be considered southwestern I guess. In any case do you know if significant French admixture common among Bavarians? How did your paternal grandfather end up mostly French if I understood correctly?

My paternal Grandfather was not mostly French. He was mostly Bavarian and some East German. He had some French admixture. His mother was from the Rhine River.

No. I'm not sure how accurate the 1/3 is. It may be less than that. But its most likely on his paternal grandmother's side.
