No he's actually all French, hence his last name Mazelier.

Yes, but that's not the place where his overall phenotype is more common, though he has a certain French vibe, which he is indeed.
Nordid with Dalo-Faelid sprinkling. I'd place him firstly in the Netherlands, then Flanders, Wallonia and parts of northwestern Germany and then central/central-eastern to northern France.

Well he's probably from northern France (just guessing here) and in northern France his phenotype is not totally uncommon.

It seems that all french men are either tall, chiselled nordic gods or
Short, fat, mustached harp players with deep voices and a funny smell.

He could fit in France of course, but also NW Europe (Britain, Norway, Denmark) :)

His second name Mazelier is typical for South-Central France (Auvergne, Limousin).

That is awesome that there's a site that tracks geographical origins of surnames in France!
Thanks!

He would fit here easily but my first guess would be somewhere in continental Northwestern Europe from Germany to Northern France.
Trönder or Rheingräber(Faelid + Nordid).

Tronder, I don't see Faelid, I can picture him being French actually now it's been said, his lower face is somewhat soft and narrower than the rest.

You are absolutely correct in your observation about the softness of his facial features! I'm starting to notice that even with the sharp, angular chiseled looks there's still something rather "soft" with these French facial phenotypes that you can differentiate from other nordic types like German for example. But that softness in the features is also present in the darker French types.
