Most likely there are more than a few Southern European and even North African descendants among them. But anyway, a mix of Alpines and Meds in the main.

Thanks, of course though in such a rural area probably no more than 20% max

..and yet they are probably more intelligent and have more sex than you do - care to provide evidence on the contrary?

Well i wouldn't know about their intelligence but they are probably lower on the IQ scale than more Nordic french from the north.

Most of them look from southern Europe,

almost everyone passes for Spaniards lol

Although I also have to admit that this photo is a bit cherry picked because I saw a lot of French tourists and in general there were
Vastly more people with light features than the people in this photo

I think French tourists tend to be lighter featured, probably come from more northern areas as well, the Alpine French tend I think to be less adventurous, most only speak French too which would mean that they are less likely to travel outside the country.

Or it is also likely that those tourists are Belgians.

The region is close to Italy so it is a region in the south of France and therefore southern Europe.

Of course but most tourists from France tend i think to come from the north as they are close to the UK and also go to the Med to get sun on holiday,

You say that southern French people don't have the need to travel?

They might holiday domestically more, but it does seem that French tourists I see are lighter than the inhabitants of the local towns I have visited in France, you actually do have people with Nordic influence travelling more generally, Brits abroad are more likely to be blonde or fair complected and even Coon mentioned that in his book.

So you notice a difference between French tourists and native French in their country cities?

Sometimes, at least in Spain they look more atlantid or subnordics with less gracile med and alpine(which is the overwhelming element in southern France) in the UK they are often nearly identical looking to the English

The only ones I can think of that are mostly seen are those in the extreme northeast, Normandy, and Upper France, etc.

You can see them in most parts of France, I visited a butchers shop in Grenoble and the men running it looked like typical English, in Lyon there were a considerable number of people identical to the English especially and Welsh.

Obviously throughout the country there are similar people, even in Iberia it is possible to see people similar to the British, but even so, both in Spain and in the majority of France, the native people look different, there may be more rapprochement in some areas of France but If you see a group of French and British you can differentiate them. Furthermore, the French have many elements of Continental Europe that the British lack or are not common in them.

That's true but sometimes you have to look closely, especially in the case of Belgians and Germans to see differences.
