I'm surprized there's no thread about her classification here.

She's one of the most known singers in Turkey and Eurovision winner in 2003. She was born in 1964, in Istanbul.

-Father: Born in Diyarbakır, his mother is an Arab from Siirt and father is from Muş (probably has Arab or Kurdish origin)
-Mother: Born in Ayvalık, her parents are Turkish immigrants from Yugoslavia and Selanik/Thessaloniki
