It depends on your perception of 'white' race (if one actually exists). Every single person on this forum has different criteria for 'whiteness'. For some, a white person must have blonde hair, pale skin and blue/grey eyes (some don't count green-eyed and/or ginger europeans as 'white'). A lot of 'white' europeans have this faux-asian appearance to them. I've seen several irishmen with asian-looking eyes, for instance. But people from the Emerald island are as far removed from Asians as Eastern Euros from Sub-saharan africans.
A lot of Icelanders/Norwegians/Swedes also look Asiatic, but that's due to Eskimo(or whatever the Icelandic asians are called, the ones from Greenland) and Saami admixture respectively. But I'd still call them 'whiter' than an average Romanian, even though Romanians have no asiatic admixture. But that doesn't mean I dislike Romanians or something, Romanians are alright, just as any other European nation.

There were White settlers ( Portuguese descendants) in the Cape Verde. It doesn’t automatically means that he’s from a Negro lineage. Elon Musk has South African ancestry ( Dutch or French Huguenot descendants), does this make him a Negro now ?
