View Full Version : What was Ataturk (Mustafa Kemal)’s haplogroup?
As the title says. Given by how white he looks I’d say one of those R clades, the Anatolian types.

His paternal line is from Karaman, he could be everything and there is no need for speculations unless they test him.
Yes, typical Karamanids. That attaturk.

Seal of Solomon was a popular symbol among the members of Hanafi Madhhab, even Candarids used it. Karaman-Konya had unlimited amount of Turkic migrations mostly consisting of Afshars and Salurs with constant interactions with the Mongols and Turkmen tribes of that area.

Hmm, pehaps R1a-CTS6-Leviticus :sherlock:
A man born in Thessaly Greece home to the largest Jew population in Greece, a Jewtown. Can they come forward to tell us they are Cryptoids you have a Star of David here and there in your ancestry but it all is coinicidental. Hmmm.

As rule of the thumb in Islam. Any symbols that is not in accordance with Islam the cross and David’s star is idolizing hence therefore shirk. I am tawasuf although, and I know this alhamdulilah. Looks like these " Muslims" don’t know Deenta that much. Amateurs… or I’d say Donmé. :sherlock:

I would have beheaded you if I were a Muslim for uttering such blasphemous words, you are lucky that I'm not. You get to keep your head.
Stop crying in my thread and grow some balls, Turk.

Thessaly is not the same as Thessaloniki dude. ( province vs city) But I agree that Thessaloniki ( the city ) had the largest Jew population in Greece. I have no opinion on the rest.

David's star is frequently used by Turks because the Star of David, or, more commonly, the Sigil of Solomon, is an important symbol for Muslims. Now Muslims regard it as an anti-Islamic symbol of Isreal.

Totally fake. His father is from Macedonia, Kodžadžik.

What about Ottoman rulers? Still lack of evidence which haplogroup they belong to? It shouldnt be that hard as they can test Harun Osmanoglu or one of his kids.

But you’re a kafir though. How’s you know?

The specific lineage isn't definitively known from what I understand. Current estimates suggest it could be either J2 or R1a.

Kuffar secular Turkish education taught me well.

Would definitely tell much about Oghuz Turks if we had an sample. Shouldnt be that hard to convince one of Osmanoglu for a Big Y-700 test.

I can tell.
Are there any Balkan Turks from Kodžadžik who have had their Y-DNA tested?
This might give us an idea.

This guy is a Macedonian Turk, and he shares the same clade with me, which is RCT-9219.
But he didn't respond to the post asking where exactly he is from in Macedonia.
