Do you think it will be a good show?

I trust in Jonathan Nolan. It will probably not be a total disappointment. It will be an okay show at worst.

The Westworld team is working.
Westworld was a total disappointment 0/10 imo, so I don't have much hope for the project.
But as an old Fallout 1/2 fan, I'll watch it when I get the chance.

I've never played Fallout except those from 90s hehe

I think Westworld should have ended in S1. That's where they did the mistake.

The trailer shows that the showrunners took 3D Fallout from Bethesda as a basis.
I haven't played them, but Obsidian's Fallout New Vegas was my last game, in 2010. It was interesting. Since then I haven't played games or followed their development.

While the original Fallout games would have been an ideal foundation, using the 3D Fallout games as a basis is still acceptable, given their more recent, widespread recognition, and continued relevance.

Nolan, yes for sure : "person of interest" is so good i'am more bluffing by Halo, finally a very high end budgeted adaption with a genuine plot

Season 1 had a budget of $10 million per episode, which puts Season 1's overall spend at around $90 million for nine episodes.Variety did not cite anyone or anything for the $10 million budget figure, but Paramount Plus chief programming officer Tanya Giles said the show represents a "swing for a broad audience." "My hope is this expands what the Paramount Plus brand can mean," Giles said. If $10 million is indeed the per-episode budget for the Halo series, it would be similar to HBO's Game of Thrones, which is said to have cost $10 million per episode for earlier seasons before rising to $15 million per episode for the final two seasons (https://variety.com/2017/tv/news/tv-series-budgets-costs-rising-peak-tv-1202570158/). Disney+'s Marvel TV shows are estimated to cost as much as $25 million per episode (https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-features/bob-iger-bets-company-hollywood-s-future-streaming-1247663/) and are believed to be the most expensive TV productions in the business.

I watched the first two episodes, and so far, so good. I think the show encapsulates the spirit of Fallout quite well. The girl is basically the Lone Wanderer from Fallout 3. Raised entirely inside a vault, she left there in search of her missing father. I don't know where they got inspiration from for the ghould and Maximus though.
