It can be argued that the shortening of skulls across non-mountainous/boreal regions of Eurasia can be attributed to the spread of feudalism or feudalism-like institutions in civilized societies, especially in Continental Europe and East Asia.

Places in Europe, specifically The British Isles and Scandinavia where feudalism was weaken from the beginning or weak due to the environment, have typically longer skulls than their continental counterparts.
One thing that stumped me about this topic is that India, despite having a strong hierarchy somewhat akin to feudalism historically if I’m not mistaken, has typically longer skulls than the rest of Eurasia. Since I’m not well informed of the history of India, specifically medieval India, would anyone have an explanation for this process not taking place in India? Did shudras eat better diets than European and East Asian peasants? Was there an aspect of feudalism both found in Europe and East Asia attributed to brachycephalization that is not found in India? Could the stimulating aspect of Hinduism play a role in this? What else?

Brachycephalization is common in Indians. (See Indo-Brachid and Central Brachid phenotypes.) Dolichocephalic skulls are million times more common in Iran and Arabia Peninsula than in India
