He was part of a group of Norwegian nazis called Rinnanbanden (The Rinnan Gang or officially "Sonderabteilung"), they ran intelligence and interrogations for the nazis and were said to be so brutal in their torture methods that often the Gestapo had to be present to make sure they didn't go too far, many people died during their interrogations, they were worse than the nazis.
The Rinnan Banden along with Quisling and other collaborators were the last to be executed at Kristiansten Fortress in Norwegian history. There's a museum here featuring the Rinnan Banden.
