I've been searching in google and still couldn't find something that helps me understand if it belongs to r1a or r1b.

R-M207 is actually a synonym for R, it's the parent of R1a and R1b.

Ofcourse it's not directed towards you but OP who has relatives with R2. And I meant her peternal line as she's a female.
Maybe it's same clade what her relatives have or similar. Just a guess.
