I.e. ironically the opposite of what happens in many other parts of the world, where it is people with light hair/eyes/skin who tend to be over-represented among the celebrities. Thinking about it, quite a few of the most famous actresses from the Nordic countries, such as Sofie Grabol and Heida Reed, have quite dark brown/blackish hair, even though in the Nordic countries no more than (at most) maybe 10% of native people do so.

The most famous Hollywood actors are not blonde...the most important rock-pop singers are not blonde..

The first male Hollywood super-star was Rudolph Valentino... who wasn't blond and didn't even have blue eyes.

They are in much of Latin America and the MENA. Possibly also Southern Europe (look at the number of blonde female presenters on Rai Uno).

I don't pay attention to celebrity crap so I don't really know, but I can't recall ever noticing any kind of overrepresentation of a certain hair/eye color.

In Iceland and Sweden, they value when their celebrities have a heavy tan.
