He was tested back in 2007, afro-brazilian Daiane dos Santos was tested in the same batch as him and came out pred. european but in a more recent test she came out as pred. african which seems more coherent so maybe his results would also be different with current technology.

IMO Palmeira has a versatile and ambiguous look. For instance, in the film Anahy de las Misiones which is set duing the Ragamuffin War he looks like a stereotypical "pelo duro" gaucho:

While in this Nelson Rodrigues adaptation his vibe is more of a typical high class tanned white brazilian (Palmeira appears around 1 and half minutes into the video):

Yes he could,i would consider him white though even if he has a slight mix (hes 93 porcent euro 2 porcent african and 5 porcent amerindian).

I think average brazilian who is brown but mostly european would be someone like Caua Raymmond or Bruna Marquezine,but actually theres no uniform average in Brazil so anyway could be average depending on how you see it.

I would say Marcos is actually darker than the average white brazilian also.

The forum member is me, after you said he looked "fully portuguese".

First of all, i'm from Portugal and have lived here all my life. There is also a brazilian in every corner in Portugal (actually there is 3 or 4 brazilians in every corner nowadays in Portugal). So i'm more than qualified to know how these two populations look like. Whereas you in Ecuador probably only know these populations through google images.

I know the man in question from TV. He is an actor, so i know how he looks like. And yes, he looks very brazilian to me. He has a common look among brazilians and i wouldn't think he was portuguese.

I don't care what the 5% is or what even the 95% is, 5% of someone's heritage is just not gonna come up in their appearance. At all. That is a great great grandparent. It's as good as meaningless at that point.

Let's just stop with all of the words that don't mean anything and nonsensical, arbitrary percentages;

yes, he would not look foreign in Iberia

I'm not making up those percentages. Those results came out in a DNA test.

Yes,it hardly shows,at least when the person looks northwestern european or so,when someone looks like him they will blame probably blame the slight adxmix on the swarthy apperance.
