The distribution of Y-DNA among them appears to bear some resemblance to that of contemporary Greeks. There is an exception of course and that is Q.

interestingly K2b-P-QR* accounts for 33.3%.

total K* accounts for 44.4%.

and finally, J accounts for 22.2% the rest are 77.8%.

Yes and they are genetically close to Greeks.

Romaniote are more West Asian than Ashkenazim. So how are they more ~250% more J? ((Apparently)) but I’ve seen statistics that say otherwise.

I believe it maybe due to bottleneck or the statistics are maybe just hogwash.

But I would much prefer the former in these two scenarios.
