It's western european downstream of R1b>P310, it looks like it peaks in modern Britain.

Thank you! I had a look at the hubby's lineage and traced it down with surname and confirmed the location. There are two haplogroups in this area with this surname. One is R-FT12812 and the other is R-M269.
So I can be pretty sure he is R1b.

It is a descendant of R-L21\R-DF13. Same haplogroup branch as mine. Fairly common paternal line among Britons and Irish descents.

R-M269 is the upstream 6400 ybp, which means that the other man hasn't tested further.
The R-FT12812 is your husband's most recent TMRCA (time to most recent common ancestor) with the second match.
He is R1b through and through.

The hubby's family is from Isle of Skye. Scottish through and through.

The best in the world. Forget the muscle-bound men, forget the gymrats, R1b rocks me right into my socks. ::loveheart:

What about G2 men? And about R1a? Why aren’t they as good as R1b according to you?

Is your husband R1b?
Yes, it looks like it. He hasn't been tested but dozens and dozens of people with the same surname in the same location that his father's line is from is R1b. I think it would be safe to assume that he is too.

Very nice. Tell me more about it, I like to talk to people with (s)experience. Is your husband good to dominate, a real subby hubby? I read on the internet that R1b men are really submissive.

He is an excellent hubby. I wouldn't exchange him for anything in the world. :lovehearts:
