I can also imagine her being Turkish very easily. But like the more European looking Turks that's it.

BTW. there is quite a lot of girls in SE Poland (not góral regions though curiously enough) but from Sanok town further to the east - 220 kilometres away which I find very Romanian looking as in striking me with some looks that I consider common among Romanian people. Pontid like phenotypes are nothing extraordinary and there are even some women who look like Simona Halep, btw. despite being light Simona doesn't look like possibly a regular Polish girl at all to me but there's a region in Poland (a rather small one) where people pop up looking a bit differently, I suspect that it is due to some higher level of Wallachian admixture among these people but I haven't seen DNA tests of people with a lot of ancestry from this area to check my theory, it could be something else instead. But even those women do not look like this Romanian chess player.

I've heard of some Vlachs settling in actual territory of Poland. But these specific phenotypes could be the results of other populations too. Maybe it's older influence. It would be interesting to see the DNA result of these people (though genetics and phenotype is not always connected). Hope you'll find such results in the future to confirm or disapprove this hypothesis. And yes, Simona is of Aromanian descent, I see why she would not fit so much in Poland despite her pigmentation.
Thinking of it, even your paternal DNA found rather in more southern Europeans, isn't it?!

There are worse pictures and better pictures of her on the internet. I've tried to go with the middle ( those in which she does not have excessive makeup for e.g.), and select those in which, her features show up better. But it's true that in most of the pics here she is smiling, maybe that influences the level of attractivity too.
