Do people from Tajikistan more closely resemble people from Georgia or central Pakistan?

Tajikistan have a football match on today and many of us saw people from The team, do they more closely resemble causasus people like Georgians and Azeris or people from central Pakistan like Punjabis?

Interesting, I think a lot of Tajiks can pass in Pakistan but it depends on the tribe or region, very few or none would look Australia or Dravidian influenced.

Oh come on man, we all know what we mean by Pakistani looking, I'm taking about the bulk population consisting of Punjabis, Saraikis, Kashmiris, Muhajjirs, Sindhis etc. They don't pass there at all, the football match just finished between Tajikstan ( come on !!!) And Lebanon and the tajiks were visibly lighter, they look Cuacasus. Fringe groups that don't even make up 1% of the Pakistani population means nothing to me.

Even with pashtun paks it depends from where and how much admixed they are with local Pakistani groups .

Georgians are the lightest MENAs. Tajiks may have light types but I'd still put them with Pakis, the light ones, as their physical features are still quite similar. Georgians look very different, almost slavic!

Cherrypicked Georgians may look on average Slavic, however not all Georgians look Slavic. The Tajikstan football team doesnt contain any pamiris and yet Alot of them could pass in Caucasus, their features are very different to paks.

Georgians look distinct, maybe not only slavic. I'd still place them closer to eastern europe and anatolia. Tajiks still have a central asian look to them, no matter how blonde they can be. But they are still equidistant to the average usually indic looking Pakis. This thread was pretty tricky asf

I live in Russia and there are a lot of Tajiks here. They don't look like Georgians at all. I almost never saw a Tajik in real life whom I could mistake for one of my own.

Yamnaya people on G25 are made with 85% of north east europe and 15% tadjikistan btw

The less Mongoloid types would lean more towards Georgia by default but overall, they are distinct to Georgians and Pakistanis in my view.

Hey mate, what are you on? Pakistan isn’t in the Caucasus region, OK. Tajikistan is a lot closer to Afghanistan, northern Pakistan, northern India and western China than it is to the Caucasus region.
