unreduced Palaeolithic survivors are uncommon in France especially in southern France where the rays of the sun are strong and episodes of cloudiness are less frequent. While pockets of unreduced CM types are known to exist in parts of southern France the general trend is towards smaller skulls, the only outcrop of actual Brunn types and Borreby types in the Med is in mountainous North Africa where damp climate conditions are seen for at least half of the year.

The reason stands in the density of Neolithic incomers in those regions compared to Northern Europe (especially North-East). This is why in Southern Europe the Neolithic element dominates, while in Northern Europe it's more like a mix of Mesolithic, Neolithic and to a lesser extent Aryan...

Scandinavians are just corded ware genetically

so Corded Ware must have had a lot of Baltid- Borreby facial features with dolicephalic crania.

Not quite, since modern scandanvians have narrower faces on average and much less dolichocephalic, also they are often mixed mixed slavic and other genetic components, what the corded ware looked like were dark haired version of germanic phenotypes from early viking age to nordic bronze age

Also here's a genetically corded ware facial reconstruction of a skull

Looks ubermensch

looks like a normal Nordic/Atlantid to me.

That means they arent fully Corded ware thoguh, if they have Slavic etc. but those Borreby admixed people do not look Slavic cmon, even those Baltids look Baltic at best. There is a tiny minortiy that looks Slavic, but its very tiny actually- and its some Nordics that look Slavic.

Probably, its indeed climate. Since Anatolian farmers lived on farming, they preferred arable lands similar to Anatolia, at the time means southern europe and France and basically didnt exist in NE europe with farming methods and crops of the time.

Which is why ENF-related phenotypes are rare in Northern Europe but highly common in Southern Europe (incl. Romania). But wait, weren't aboriginal Europeans black skinned and blue eyed?:lightbul:
