Read from page 217 onwards where a pair of danish anthropologists referred to the mountain tajiks as pure Celtic . Ofcourse any connection is pure nonsense nor am I claiming any Celtic heritage, but it's intriguing that some northern Europeans even thought of this.

No, not actual ancestry rather they are closer ( based on these autosomal calculators ) to arabs, however I wouldn't pay too much attention to that as Eastern Iranics like OP are also closer to Northwest south Asians than Kurds are to Northwest South Asians, in essence it doesn't mean much . Rather pay attention to the ancestral make up of the Kurds which is mainly Zagrosian /Anatolian / Natufian+ Steppe + Turkic

I think the light looks originate from the Ancient north Eurasians, weren't the Tarim mummies supposed to be of ANE descent?

It's essentially Andronovo/Sintashta, as south central Asians are pretty much direct descendants of those people, ofcourse ,just like any other modern population they have absorbed other people to the modern day fabric of their genome.

It would have to be a bigger influence than just that culture, the Caucasus people are probably the closest relatives to the Pamir tribes and I don't think they have a lot of Sintasha influence, I think Sintasha were largely Nordics or light meds while Tajikistan and probably Afghanistan is more alpine/Proto iranid.

I think pretty much everywhere from Iran and Syria northwards has a lot of CHG and general ANE DNA, like the Kurds, Lurs etc who also can exhibit cro Magnon traits, yeah he does look Irish, basically a reduced Brunn.
