I took all of the Valentine's Day averages for all of Scandinavia both ancient and modern and I ran my LM Genetics K47 Centromeres against the samples and it comes out to maybe 70% Slavic or a combination of Slavic and Balto-Slavic, and looks completely central European Slavic at 2x ADC. Your centromere show your most ancient DNA apparently. Different calculators will give you different distances back in time when you study your centromeres but I like the LM Genetics K47 results and sims for more recent yet ancient results.

As you can see, the best fit chromosome is roughly 12x "better" than the worst fit, yet it's all my DNA, so it's a perfect fit regardless.

Good news, I was able to get hold of ALL measurable centromere positions to calculate only them and not LCR also. I will post positions in a new thread for those who want to try them out. I find it fascinating how they represent more ancient and very ancient DNA we carry.

When I include all samples of my origins vs all Slavic samples, from the V-day Averages (all) list, I show about 25% Slavic at no ADC. At 1x ADC it's all Serbia. I have lots of Hungary roots, so it makes sense.

The thing is, I have Eastern Slavic more than any other, coming from Russia, so I wonder if I add Russia into this mix what will happen? I will try.

I plot quite closely to the Czech "Early-Slav" on the PCA, but I ran Gedmatch kit against actual sample and don't show any shared DNA with that sample, although it requires segments to be minimum of 3 centimorgans. I think my closest pieces probably come from Balto-Slavs who mixed in Gotland, Sweden, but other pieces show up from the Balkans and SE Europe.
