Nobody truly cares about AVERAGE genetic distance except nerds.

A sizeable chunk of Middle Easterners (a collection of people in a region, not a race) do resemble Western Europeans phenotypically. The tiny nitpicks only exist from a Western cultural lens. These nitpicks would not be made in East Asia or SSA among people within their own lineage but in a different country/religion/culture.

tbh these types are exaggerated online for obvious reasons, my white/white latino friends with lots of exposure to Levantine populations and Turkish point out that they look really Middle Eastern. It's just that the whiter minorities are posted on anthro forums for whatever reason.

Can I ask you a question if you don't mind? Do you dislike non-Europeans or is it mainly the Middle Easterns folks in France/Europe?
