Do woman get affirmative action in engineering in your country

Norway. Already have shown that company performance decrease if They give quota to women


But i was trying to find information about country. Unfortunately countries like chile and USA give affirmative action to woman in engineering. Chile case is worst. After affirmative action female presence in engineering have increased from 19% to 32% how many incompetent female engineer are in Chile?
In mit acceptance rate for men is 5% and 11% for women
Remember men get better sat score in math than woman.
In Tokyo university. Only one but best engineering college in Japan. Unfortunately women get 15% quota. At least all college are not forced and it is very low. Before quota it was 13% now talent of those 13% women is questioned

There is nothing I hate more than quota/affirmative action. It discriminate against competent people because of something that they can't control

Quotas are bad because if you get the job solely for being something particular, you wont be competing and likely there wont be impulse for better performing. Quotas are sometimes necessary but they should be the last choice, if everything else fails beforehand.
