And yet another German I tested some time ago at AncestryDNA:
His ancestry is ½ from Lower Silesia and ½ from Upper Saxony.
How his Baden-Württemberg region is evoked is not clear but he’s not deeply into ancestry research. From my experience I’d assume AncestryDNA to be correct.
He (rothaer_friend_HV) is pretty southern in G25, but this is what the component "Germanic Europe" often is. People in southern Bavaria not rarely get essentially 100% Germanic Europe.
