definitely not a full-blooded Spaniard. Yes, could be adopted, could be mixed, could, be a not-the-real-father thing etc

Definitely not Spanish looking.

I think there are a lot of Moroccans in Spain so he could be mixed with Moroccan.

Well, it seems not, since his last name is Spanish.I would say that Adaptation is more likely, or perhaps the nationality of the mother

Well, anyone in Spain cannot change their last name only in VERY exceptional cases, and only if this last name belongs to your biological or adaptive family.
