R-U106 is known to be Germanic.

From what I saw it branched up to the tip of Denmark closest to Norway and Sweden and then I'm sure it made itself back down to you if you're in France through England...I'd guess Anglia

I can trace my paternal patronomic ancestors back to the 16th century: they all come from the same village (Gouy-Saint-André)

However, it could be that in a more distant way, I have a Gaulish ancestor with a u106 haplogroup, or more distantly a frankish and more distantly a germanic?
