Hello.. whatever your real name may be,

I have noticed your posts here to be a little bit insulting for some non-Russians in particular the Latvians but what I miss is anything in relation to displaying and honoring your own culture.

I already posted Voyna i mir (http://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3794) (Leo Tolstoy) in the Bookshelf. And I will post some samples here of Russian architecture, Russian music- whatever I can find within a couple of minutes and then I think that you should take over since you are the Russian on this board that should show his nation's cultural history to the world (not me) . Let's see what you can find, hmm.

It's a challenge.. from one European to the other.
Time to stop the boasting about Russian power and start boasting about Russian culture.:wink

Pushkin was 1/8 Cushitic. But he is still a hero of Russia.:D

Father Arseny and the winter night's miracle
"We are going to freeze, Father Arseny," moaned Alexei. "It is because of me that we are going to freeze. We are both going to die. We need to keep moving, to jump up and down, but it is impossible to keep that up for 48 hours. I already feel so weak, so battered. My feet are already frozen. There is no room here, we cannot even move. Father Arseny, we are going to die. They are inhuman, it would be better to be shot!" Father Arseny was silent. Alexei tried to jump, but it did not warm him up. It was hopeless to resist such cold.

"Why don't you say anything, Father Arseny?" Alexei shouted.

As if from somewhere very far away Father Arseny's voice answered, "I am praying to God, Alexei!"

Let's see now:

Pushkin, a famous and talented poet and cultural figure vs Obama, a Kenyan usurper whose sole achievement is being the posterboy for the NWO who arranged his election but is a national hero of the USA.

Who really has the egg on his face eh? :D

But Pushkin is considered a Russian. Obama will always be Black. A Black-American or African-American. But never simply American. He other non-Whites like himself will always be differentiated by the hyphen.
