Lee told police Diekhoff began shouting racial slurs at him and also threatened to beat him up for walking by his property. Lee says three other men joined Diekhoff, so he ran to a friend's house and grabbed a baseball bat.
Lee returned with the bat and a police say the group had a heated verbal exchange. Lee then left and called police, describing Diekhoff as having multiple Aryan tattoos and being short, fat and bald.
