With more individual samples I used in the Euro K4 calc, I think this will make it more modern for Northern and Western Europeans. My Slavic shifts to Western Kashubian, perhaps coming through Sumy? Did Kashubians enter in through Ukraine?

It's the same with me with Swedish even though I'm half Swedish it's always about a distance of 3.1% and there are numerous other ethnicities ahead of it. I think the problem is using averages. If you use the individual samples you probably have closer English like I have my closest sample is Swedish but it's not the scaled average it's a scaled individual sample and there's more than one actually but my closest samples are Swedish and Norwegian when using individual samples.

Do you have your coordinates if you don't you could do simulated I could show you how I could message you the links and you can use Gedmatch results by chromosomes with several of their calculators but I would recommend the Euro genes K13 or k36 or one of the MDLP.

Once you get your coordinates you can use Vahaduo and just put your coordinates as the Target and then use the modern scale as the source and then adjust your settings when you click on the distance tab to show only the top two distances and you could label your core Amazon that way or you could run your results using the 2x for example on the single calculator function and then take the top piece or top two pieces to label your chromosomes.

I experiment with all different sets of chromosomes based on simulated results to plot them and see the similarities or differences and sometimes it's revealing sometimes it's helpful a some are more specific than others. I find it interesting for example that my first eight chromosomes which make up half of my DNA have a very tight area around the composite plot for whatever calculator I use to make the simulated coordinates so for example if I use my one composite set of K13 coordinates on the PCA my first aid chromosomes create an area that's very tight around that one and then my second half of my DNA expands much further outward so I think your first aid chromosomes or your most modern and so maybe just measuring your first eight would show a clearer picture of your modern genetics but I could be wrong.

Also I use DNA genics to create what I think are the best set of 22 chromosomes for each data set because their ancestry plot is virtually identical to the illustrative DNA what people call official plot so I imagine all 22 chromosomes would be somewhat if not equally identical to the overall plot. So when you use individual samples on this second version does your Slavic shift to the east? I'm on my phone and can't easily check at the moment at least not very efficiently I thought I would just ask you. Anyway mine shifts to the west and I think it makes it a more modern picture of where my Slavic background got to me in some way most recently and it makes sense because being half Swedish it's right across the Baltic Sea from Southern Sweden and I know my mother's father's family was from gotland even though some of it went back to the north of Sweden and my mother's mother's side comes from probably Norwegian south east of Oslo into far Western Sweden some of it from Gothenburg and some of it from closer to Oslo in the West.

After I assess myself having abt. 40% proto Slavic the result makes sense.

But my wife with abt. 29% proto Slavic obviously becomes completely de-Slavicised in favor of a smaller proportion of Baltic (Lithuanian).
