Whether or not Mal’ta culture connects Native Americans and Europeans is a controversial topic. Even if it’s the case, R1 is only present in Northern American tribes (eg Canadian native tribes), not in Central or South America, which makes sense geographically.

I think because amerinds share a long long long time ancestor with eastern euros who later on mixed with East Asians you being Slavic could make sense the amerind noise.

(2020) modeled both the Yana specimens and the Mal'ta sample as a mixture of a sister lineage of the 'European hunter-gatherer' Kostenki-14, contributing around 68% ancestry, and a lineage contemporary to the 'Basal-East Asian' Tianyuan man, contributing around 32% ancestry. They found no evidence of reverse gene flow from ANE/ANS into Tianyuan or modern East Asians.

Allentoft et al. (2024) modeled the Yana specimens, the Mal'ta sample, and the Afontova Gora remains as 65% West Eurasian and 35% East Eurasian.

Sikora et al. noted that the Ancient North Eurasians, Mal'ta and Afontova Gora individuals, are unlikely to be direct descendants of the 'Ancient North Siberian' Yana population. Instead, the study argues that both are sister lineages sharing a common ancestor. According to Sikora et al., the Mal'ta sample may also have received some 'early Caucasus hunter-gatherer' gene flow (c. 11%).

Modeling them with Finns and Udmurts is as absurd as modeling yourself with your descendants.

For the OP, no, you wouldn't be a great example of the Mal'ta boy.

You’re using a late Bronze Age source. At this point ancient north eurasians are extinct as a distinct population. Try without it.
