Just based on the ones that have posted in this thread i get around double the average NHG, closer to portuguese but still higher, and for ANE the difference is even greater

Totally expected because Ukraine meso is mostly made of those two. So it will capture more ANE in this "package" the more IE, particularly, you are.

I'll see what I can find out and maybe send you a couple samples to try out because I have an idea what it could be overfitting for if I understand what you're saying correctly and maybe just maybe there's some other groups from the East that aren't on my calculator that you would find yourself connecting to more from that time period if you run that sample against another more inclusive test run the sample from where you're from and see if there's some other groups over there at that time that's the fastest way you could do it

This is quite high CHG. Do you know why?
I am not sure, but maybe combination of dad's male bloodline passing right through there for a long while before venturing into Europe from the Samara area via Ukraine-Moldova route. Could be Yamnaya links? I tried to figure that out before but am not so sure. My female bloodline is listed as "Eastern European" by 23andMe, and so maybe I get roots over in the east from that. They put my entire x-chromosome as Eastern European, for a total of 2.6% for me from that region. I don't know for sure right now.
Ancestry gives me 16% and 23andMe is 16.8%, so it averages to 16.4% with the full sample list:
