Today at our house we had our traditional turkey dinner, we had friends round and pulled out all the stops to impress.

Here is a picture of my meal.
Turkey, Pork, ham, pigs in blankets with Rosemary, Roast potatoes, Roast turnips,
turnip/carrot mash, Stuffing balls, and home made Jamie Oliver gravy.

Yesterday (24th) is the main dinner day in Estonia.

And of course we have pork, potatoes, sauerkraut, potato salad.. and chicken.
Today we had also pork and oven potatoes and also oven carrots.

I dont think we ever eat turkey in Estonia.

The Fisherman's soup is the traditional hungarian Christmas dish.

We are going to have Turkey and Ham with all the fixins (sweet potatoes, fresh baked bread, various veggies). The Turkey is currently out back in the deep fryer. Should be done in a half hour or so.

I normally don't care for the big Christmas meal, not at all, but this year I did. Haven't eaten this much in a long, long time.

We had roast turkey, bacon, roast potatoes, various greens, potato salad, and meat pies (no, not all Scots eat haggis, contrary to what many think. ;))

Liebfraumilch and other white wines to drink.

I had steak, corn, and a cream filled potato. I think Pie and Ice Cream is for dinner. There was also sweet potato casserole, but I decided to not eat it.

We don't have a Christmas dinner, we have a Christmas lunch on the 25th, that's the tradition. I had pork steak, burgers with onion rings :) and lots of beers.
