It is my understanding that the European DNA in African-Americans didn't all enter the gene pool at once, rather, each generation, a small % of mulattos were born. So, does that mean that if slavery had lasted until, say, 1935 instead of 1865, African-Americans would be ~30% European instead of ~20%?

If, and only if, as long as the ban against the slave trade from SSA was upkept and them Confeds would have kept tight control of population ratios (to prevent the disorder and defficiencies of the plantation regime in the Caribbean from happening, where the ratio was 10 slaves per 1 free person), methinks.

I remember reading some quote that "A plantation lady can name the father of mulatto children on every plantation except her husband's". It was normal in the past for upper-class men to have mistresses, look at Charles II and James VII & II.

It would have continued to make Africans more European, since it was mostly men doing it and they were less likely to integrate descendants of slaves in their family. There should be the same effect in the long run now, not because of the "slave" aspect anymore but because all the Aframs even with significant Euro dna are still seen as black. Most of them are going to get back into black communities soon or later.

Yes, but the average black might be 30% European instead of 20%. They would probably be more attractive and intelligent on average.

I don't think so, why? Because In order for that to happened Anglos would've to adapt to a racial mixing assimilation system like the Iberians did so by the time of American independence the "black" population would've turned into mulatto.

Except for the fact that Aframs are mixed because horny White guys would fuck their lady slaves, and not because of racial mixing assimilation. Almost 2 out of every 5 Afram men has a European Y-DNA.
