Because I have MyHeritage files for my grandma, mother and myself, I decided to use them to check the inheritance within 3 generations.
The reports are customized. Initially, I wanted to use only Poland, Germany and Russia.
For my grandma, only the sample from Yaroslavl was used. Later, it turned out that it was better to use all the Russian samples. The percentage result didn’t change much. Instead of Anhalt, she got Mecklenburg, and instead of Yaroslavl, Smolensk, which is genetically similar to Eastern Poland.
Next, Humanitas correctly indicated that my mother might have Balkan admixture (this aligns with the clues I had obtained).

I think that this customised test (even with the full database) is very helpful to show ethnicity. My grandma has close German ancestry, but all commercial tests, even G25, show her as 100% Slavic. However, Humanitas confirmed that her ancestors from Germany were simply genetically Eastern Germans. In the case of my mother, detecting the Balkan admixture was exceptionally accurate.
As far as I know, they currently don't have much time to take a lot of new orders, but there shouldn't be any issues with contacting them.
I'm writing about this because I'm really impressed.
