Essentially Pontid with Alpinoid influence. So, tell me, do you usually stick out in Latvia?

predominantly pontid. Some alpinid or baltid admixture there.

As far as him sticking out in latvia, I remember agrippa saying that pontids could be found in mixed form all the way into finland. But I guess he isn't a stereotypical latvian thats for sure.

I think I have an example of Pontid Latvian. I'm gonna make a thread for that later.

Pontid predominantly with some Alpinoid-Baltid influences, which are rather weak.

Do you have ancestor(s) from Caucasus region?

Predominantly north pontid with some nordid and possibly slight baltic admixture.

You represent quite well the areas you come from :) And I don't think you would stand out in Latvia, I remember meeting a few Latvians with similar looks.

Kudos for taking the right photos for classification purposes, and not the usual FB/Myspace angles :D

Russians Nordicist made me LOL.

He looks like a Pole, Ukrainian or Southern Russian
He could pass as one for sure, but it's so obvious his type is more common in Russia than Poland, since Russia has a lot of Pontids among them. I have never seen Polish Pontids in my life. Let's face it, Russia is very big country with a lot of phenotypes. Finding an examples of Pontid Russians is as an easy as finding an examples of Pontid Poles is difficult, but I'm not going to do that because both of you are going banana. :tongue

People from Katowice, Southern Poland:

He would stick out among them.

If we are looking at Adrian_M's ancestors, it's so clear that his Pontid phenotype come from his Russian ancestry. Pontid can be found in Latvia, but they are a minority. Pontid on the other hand are much more frequent in Russia than in Latvia. Yeah, I somewhat agree with you that anyone who classified as Pontid come from Baltic background possibly have Balto-Slavic ancestry.
