I have the mutation (G;G) on this SNP, which according to SNPedia would mean that I need less sleep to be in good shape.
However, if I lack sleep I feel REALLY, REALLY bad.

What are your variations on this SNP + the number of hours of sleep you need?

I have G;G but I work nighshifts so I usually need like 9-10 hours of sleep.

rs121912617 (G;G), I need about 8–9 hours of sleep to function perfectly, although I can still maintain steady performance with 4–6 hours. However, I prefer getting more sleep.

According to : https://www.geneticlifehacks.com/dec2-gene-mutation-that-causes-short-sleep/

"Check your genetic data for rs121912617 P385R (23andMe v5; AncestryDNA):

G/G: typical
G/T: natural short sleeper (less than 0.5% of population)[ref]
T/T: natural short sleeper (really, really rare)
"

G/G seems typical; SNPedia is bullshiting.

European(non finnish ) 38 carriers out of... 954282/2 : 477141 people.
