I'll start with talking about my new logo.

My logo is actually a flag is that was used by the Romanian army in use between 1940 and 1947,the monograms,on the corners, belongs to king Michael I,note that this is not the flag of the Kingdom of Romania. The Kingdom of Romania used the standard Romanian tricolor with no other symbols added.

In the center you can see the Romanian coat of arms - a big golden eagle that holds a cross in it's beak,holding a sword and a scepter in claws,with an steel crown that represents the Steel Crown of Romania made out of a captured Ottoman cannon during Romania's war of independence,thus the crown itself represents freedom. The symbols in the golden eagle's shield are: the little black and white shield represents the House of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen's origins of the Romanian royal family,while the rest represent the main historic regions that made up Romania: Ţara Românească(Wallachia) represented by the small eagle in a blue background; Moldova(Moldavia) represented by a black aurochs on a red background;Transilvania(Transylvania) that kept the old Germano-Hungarian coat of arms,representing Hungarians,Szekelys and Saxons but not Romanians(who were only a "tolerated" ethnicity and denied political and legal power as a group); Banat and Oltenia represented by a lion on a bridge,on a red background; Dobrogea represented by two dolphins on a blue background.
Stamped on the coat of arms you can see a larger Steel Crown of Romania while the coat of arms is being sustain by two lions(the symbol of Dacia and that of Transylvania in 1600 - during Mihai Viteazul's short lived union of the Romanian principalities).
All these elements are placed under a purple-red pavilion lined with ermine,having tassels and fringes made out of gold and being captured in a closed crown. In the inferior part you can see the girdle of the order of Carol I as well as the motto „NIHIL SINE DEO”(Nothing without God) on a blue ribbon.

Michael (Romanian: Maiestatea Sa Mihai I Regele Românilor, literally "His Majesty Michael I King of the Romanians", name pronounced [miˈhaj]; born 25 October 1921) is the last King of Romania. He reigned from 20 July 1927 to 8 June 1930, and again from 6 September 1940 until 30 December 1947 when he was forced, by the Communist Party of Romania (backed up by orders of Joseph Stalin), to abdicate to the Soviet armies of occupation. In addition to being the current holder of the dis-established throne of Romania, he was also a Prince of Hohenzollern until 10 May 2011, when he renounced this title.

A great-great-grandson of Queen Victoria by both of his parents, and a third cousin of Queen Elizabeth II, he is one of the last surviving heads of state from World War II, the others being the former King Simeon II of Bulgariaand the former King Norodom Sihanouk of Cambodia.

It was King Michael's personal symbol and was also painted on Romanian World War 2 war machines,especially planes. I was standardized in the factories that made the Romanian fighter plane "IAR". Some pictures:

The planes are Romanian,manufactured by Industria Aeronautică Română(IAR). In those pictures I put the IAR 80 and the IAR 81.


The IAR 80 was a Romanian World War II low-wing, monoplane, all-metal monococque fighter and ground-attack aircraft. When it first flew, in 1939, it was comparable to contemporary designs such as the German Messerschmitt Bf 109E, the British Hawker Hurricane Mk.I, and the American Curtiss P-40B/Tomahawk Mk.I and superior to the Dutch Fokker D.XXI and Polish PZL P.24. However, production problems and lack of available armament delayed entry of the IAR 80 into service until 1941. It remained in front-line use until 1944.

The tanks presented here are:
1) the Romanian R-1,actually a Czechoslovak design but due to all sorts of problems regarding their performance and license only some prototypes were made;
2) the Romanian R-2,also a Czechoslovak design that became known as Panzer 35(t) after Germany took over Czechoslovakia. It was a decent light tank,but plagued with mechanical problems, at the start of the war(it became obsolete fast);
3)TACAM R-1 was a prototype while TACAM R-2 was a tank destroyer,what it was in fact -> a R-2 fitted with a ex-Soviet 76.2 mm (3.00 in) ZiS-3 field gun. It was designed in 1943 and produced in 1944. They only saw action against Germany,as the Soviets requisitioned them.

That's the coat of arms of the Republic of Moldova,it doesn't have to do much with modern Romania or the medieval Romanian states,as you can see it's sort of a "modern design",whereas Romania kept the original symbols,including that of Transylvania and Moldavia.
