MDLP K16 calculator

[Gergő Marosvári]

There are multiple calculators on Gedmatch/Admixture Studio, but I have to say that for me, this MDLP calculator (MDLP K16) gave me an impressively accurate results in terms of my known ancestry!
The results shows my distant Zipser German ancestry and even the usual Balkan (as Bulgarian) percentage I tend to get in a lot of calculators!

I am curious if your results are also accurate for you.
Of course you can use whatever option you want, but I would recommend to try it with 0.25x or 0.5x ADC.

ATTENTION: This is NOT a G25 calculator, you need your MDLP K16 percentages from Gedmatch/Admixture Studio to get your results here!

So what is the term to describe a European with half genes from the east and half from the west? Just "mixed"? Probably why I end up matching the Czech HG-Farmer profile.

The source sample lists are different so you really can't compare one set to the other cuz they represent different groups so it doesn't make any sense only one target set of coordinates will make sense and so you really can't cross them and so which is the origin of the source? It's interesting that we get similar proportions of Chechen because I've read that the Basque language really doesn't resemble any other language apparently except perhaps the Chechen language and if you and I share the same haplogroup and I think we do that at one time was Basque and in fact still is then it could be coming from there and probably is

Gergo, do you know what group the Hungarian 206 represents? I'm very curious I'm guessing they were Longobards or affiliated? I think that's how I get probably a lot of my Southeastern European is through the Hungarian Swedes. They represent my closest group at some point on illustrative DNA but for all the official ancient samples they come in number two behind the Anderton Saxons of Germany.

This one is definitely an "outlier Hungarian". I think this sample might be Danube Swabian from Hungary, because this sample has a quite western-shifted profile.

I don't see any blatant connection to Basques with my haplogroup as of yet. Although, it probably exists there as it was found nearby in Cantabria and surrounding areas. Of course, the descendant Df27 has plenty of Basques. It would have to be a very ancient connection.

The Chechen thing I have no clue.

My merged data gives me a 22.74, which plots me closest to Finn, slightly Scottish-leaning, for Steppe.

23andMe is 23.44 which puts me in Irish. And Ancestry is 22.27, which plots me, oddly enough, closest to Ava (Burmese), but also between Ava and Scottish, so probably Scottish is the logical choice. I go with merged data to be safest.

And how about your Northeast Europe match? My merged is 26.42, which plots me closest to Slovenian, but leaning towards Dane. I would like to add that looking at the list I think it shows me plotting between Scottish and danish and it's probably just coincidence that slovenians also get that mixture so maybe my northeastern looks might even plot in Slovenia today I don't know I'd have to look at some Slovenian people to see if I might look Slovenian because everybody tells me I look Northern and people always guess Swedish or Norwegian or sometimes German but Irish people as I've said also said they can see that I'm part Irish so I don't know I guess that's what Americans are they're such a mixture in most recent times.

There are multiple calculators on Gedmatch/Admixture Studio, but I have to say that for me, this MDLP calculator (MDLP K16) gave me an impressively accurate results in terms of my known ancestry!
The results shows my distant Zipser German ancestry and even the usual Balkan (as Bulgarian) percentage I tend to get in a lot of calculators!

I am curious if your results are also accurate for you.
Of course you can use whatever option you want, but I would recommend to try it with 0.25x or 0.5x ADC.

How much Baltic HG do you get on the Eurogenes HG-Farmer calc on Gedmatch? He's showing 64.75% I get around 57% I think. I have to check mine, but he gets more there, and I get about 5% more Anatolian Farmer. Anyway...

I only have his K36 and K13 coords. He doesn't have any official G25 as of yet. He just got his raw data yesterday. He comes from the same town my Mom's Dad's Mom is from-- and I knew him long before I found that out-- and we share a lot of DNA -- 176 cM half-match (one parent/strand), including 9 segments on chromosome 1 alone.
