FTDNA gave me a new haplogroup!

I got a message from FTDNA saying that I've been assigned to a new and updated haplogroup.

There are 8 of us.

2 - Germany
1 - Poland
1 - Ireland
1 - Switzerland
2 - unknown origin
1 - ME

MtDNA: I1b10a

(Mine originated in Germany, so I might be that one German result?)

I can't find any info on it whatsoever. Google turns up zero results.

Apparently this is a new update FTDNA did. So I don't really think there would be so much info about the new subclades online :sad:

Let's hope that with the time any new information will suddenly appear!

FTDNA says they found 35,000+ new branches.

My mtdna has been updated in FTDNA, to (my already known) H1q2a. Previously I was just H1q2 in FTDNA.

1 Brazil
3 unknown countries (Spanish and Basque surnames mixed)

And mine....that comes with a Basque flag and not a Spanish one, but not by my choice.
