Like most of the rest of the planet, I consider this man a giant and I'm planning on reading his "Universe In a Nutshell" for my next book.

Unfortunately yes, it apparently did. Hawking's family raised some concerns, but in the end nothing could be proven. AfaIk the same person is still looking after him.
