Croatia perhaps or one of the other more Southern Slavic countries which are not in the Balkans area, but a little further West in Central Europe.

I don't like the shape of her eyes.
They're very "eastern" looking. The first time i saw her in Tv, i thought she was russian. She's got pretty sharp facial features, and a bit androgyn, but she's good looking anyway.

Gracil-Mediterranid+East-Baltid. He would be rather Russia, however her Mediterranid part is rather Mediterranean than South-Russsian/Ukrainian Pontid.

Compare with this Latvians with significant Eastbaltid or/and Mongoliform/Mongoloid influences (not all typical Eastbaltids):

(possible recent Mongoloid influence)

(Westbaltid tendency - Eastbaltid predominant)

Reduced Baltid with Atlantid influences.
She would be atypical for Bulgarian let alone for Italian where Uralic types are extremely rare. Possible Hungarian or Slovene somewhere down her bloodline.

I don't think she's so alien looking for here, just a bit more CM than the average.
She doesn't look uralid. It's more like a Balto-CM component, it's not the first time that I see it on northern italians. This element could have been carried here by langbards which settled in bohemia for a bit of time.

Atlantid + Balto-CM influence. She could pass as Polish, but I wouldn't call her look common; would be rather atypical here.

Does anyone know the etymology of her surname? Balti was a group of Goths:
The Balt(h)i dynasty, Baltungs, Balthings, or Balth(e)s, existed among the Visigoths, a Germanic tribe who confronted the Western Roman Empire in its declining years. The Balti took their name from the Gothic word balþa (baltha; bald or bold). It thus meant "the Bold ones" or "Bold men".

I'm not saying her name goes back to the Gothic invasion of the Italian peninsula but it would be cool if it was, somehow, you never know. :)

It's surely not directly related to the Goths' dinasty. Modern surnames were born much more later. Balti is a rare Lombard (from Lombardy) surname, probably derived from a nickname or from a toponym. In northern Lombardy there is a place called "Rive dei Balti".
