This a part of a larger text about Finnish Iron Age samples found from a Southwestern Finnish rural town Eura. What makes these samples interesting is that according to a Finnis master's degree they are lean towards Poles or Belarusians, in the half way of Finns andd these two ethnicities. None of them have revealed and before in public archives available samples were later removed. This inspired me to compare Swedish Viking Age to me and other Finns. I found that a big proportion of those Viking had Finnish ancestry, some were fully Finnish. A lady from Staraja Lagoda was like my cousin. Another study, based on carbon isotopes, revealed that she was from Eura.

Do we need ancient Finnic samples from Eura? Maybe not, because Finns escaped the curse of the acidic soil elsewhere. Some went to Aldeigjuborg, some to Ojumaa. A Finnish Eura woman traveled to Aldeigjuborg (the ancient name of Staraja Ladoga) , N1a traders went to Ojumaa (the ancient name of Gotland). The woman was also identified as ancient Eura citizen based on the carbon isotopes of the food she ate, explained here. All of these cases are identified as ancient Finns based on Dstat and Eurogenes-G25 analysis. In addition to these three, I found several potential Finnish samples.
