I like the time period breakdown its much more interesting than just the modern stuff. How accurate is this company?

Absolutely best on the market, only one with sensible models and as of recent you can use pro tools.
Just get tested elsewhwere first (Ancestry for eg.), than upload, idk if they offer genuine tests.

Yes, because he is on high end of early Slav admix for ethnic Croats.
Yet he looks typical Balkan Slav/Croat, although he passes for Slovak too

his ydna is typical (south) Slavic as well: https://www.yfull.com/tree/I-A5913/

I'm autosomally more like him than like my mother. And irl people say we look very much alike, except that my hair is light (from mother side).

daddy mtdna though is Pan-Med: https://www.yfull.com/mtree/H79c1/

I find it awesome how female line is pre-Slavic and male lineage is Slavic, fits Croat ethnogenesis well and his autosomal too ofc.

Yes, you really look very much alike

Clean results, southern part in both of you is Paleo-Balkan only and in general it seems that in West Balkans we don’t have that much West Asian input

Here for example my Iron Age result
Paeonian (750–100 BC) 51.6%
Balto-Slavic (900–350 BC) 36.6%
Illyrian (750–200 BC) 6.6%
Anatolian (780–30 BC) 4.4%
Gandhara Grave Culture (1300–800 BC) 0.8%

I agree. It seems biggest difference between West and East Balkans is that eastern Balkanites have quite more Anatolian/East Med input.

Very accurate, especially if files with older chip are used. My dad's is such and has high snp count.

From historical steppe nomads?

From historical steppe nomads?

Yes, small amount of such ancestry are common among Balkan Slavs. He has more than average however, and I think it is because half of his ancestry is from island that was found to harbour unusual amount of east eurasian Y and m-DNA related lineages (and oddly high amount in autosomal of people from related villages).

His mother and maternal grandmother looked pseudo native American.

No Illyrian in Iron Age breakdown?

Well, Paeonian is mixed Illyrian-Thracian DNA. It explains presence of E-V13 amoung western south Slavs.
