Please share your information sources. Of special interest would be the websites that you visit on a regular basis to keep yourself informed. You might want to categorize them according to type, i.e. MSM (mainstream media) source, etc.

This is a good way to find out about interesting websites we didn't know about before I think :).

I don't want to plug another forum, but since you asked, I find stormfront an excellent source for breaking news. You have thousands of members with similar interests posting links to news stories from their local media as well as breaking national news.

The coverage of the election shows the mainstream media is a complete joke and basically a waste of time.

A couple of websites I like to visit are rense.com (http://rense.com/) and prisonplanet.com (http://www.prisonplanet.com/).

Unfortunately, as I type this it appears rense has been hacked yet again.

I think it is best to visit several different sources, offering widely different views, in order to help me formulate my own opinion.

Mainstream media:
BBC (http://news.bbc.co.uk/) website
Guardian (http://www.guardian.co.uk/) website
Fox news (http://www.foxnews.com/) (TV) -- Republican bias, but still mainstream imo.
RIA Novosti (http://www.en.rian.ru/) website
Russia Today (http://www.russiatoday.com/en) (TV)

Alternative:
Uhmm ... there aren't too many good sources, but I visit various fora like Skadi, SF etc to source info.

I vist several of the mainstream media sites. I find the British newspapers to be an interesting alternative to the US websites, they take a different viewpoint as "foreign" observers. For news dedicated to racialist & conservative concerns I visit Vdare (http://www.vdare.com), LewRockwell (http://www.lewrockwell.com), Amren (http://www.amren.com), & Worldnetdaily (http://www.worldnetdaily.com). As for televison news, I watch Fox News Channel & occassionally Lou Dobbs on CNN.

Mainly from newslink collections at:

www.drudgereport.com
www.realclearpolitics.com
Yahoo News
www.amren.com
www.vdare.com

Also I listen to news/talk radio a lot, and occasionally will watch cable news.

I think our quest for news has changed a lot, which is a disaster for the newspapers here in the USA. Many have shut down for good. We take the St. Louis Daily paper, but it is struggling. They have changed their paper to some kind of awful kind of recycled paper, and it is much smaller than it used to be. I told my husband they should just go ahead and quit, instead of dying a little at a time. I had a favorite magazine I have taken for years, and recently I received a nice big colorful edition, (and the notice this would be the last one.) It was a shock to me, but at least they went out in style.

I get most of my news on my computer, MSNBC, it is always up to date, and covers many areas. I don't have to dig through the sports and business sections to find what I want to read. It gives me a quick choice.

Mainly BBC like Loki and CNN for American source, Fox News is biased...

Anyway, I frequent several other forums and the general discussion are full of news just popping up.

Usually when I log onto the computer Yahoo news service pops up, then I read Conspiracyplanet for entertainment. From there I scan Rense and Thetruthseeker for stories. I don't always visit Frugalsquirrels , Warriortalk, or Skadi forums. If I have time I may visit Whatreallyhappened, Infowars, Vdare, or Antiwar.

I haven't visited Counterpunch recently.

Global Research would seem to be a good site to read, but I never do.

I have just started to read Townhall.com, which is specifically targeted for conservatives.
