Yea I would like to see someone explain that, my best guess is a connection to the same ANE source lol.

Very Gaelic shifted, check gedmatch too, but this result look very Irish or highland Scottish on a first glance. Y-DNA also looks insular Celt.

Yes, ANE is very high in insular Celts.

You should try modeling yourself with qpAdm now that you have your file on illustrativedna. Looks like they added more samples in the “closest populations” segment. 145949145950

My periodical for comparison (just Iron Age): 145951

I’ll add that with qpAdm my admixture doesn’t really look like that. With the right sample selections maybe. Germanic is in most cases higher than what’s shown in the periodical.

Just went on Encyclopaedia and found several other English MIA samples modelled as part South American hunter gatherer as well. This is a weird way of modelling ANE ancestry lol.
