Of contemporary Italian music I like only modern lyric and sperimental/classic, especially thank to Roberto Cacciapaglia (in some ways, similar to Enya).
SPERIMENTAL CLASSIC - ROBERTO CACCIAPAGLIA, "LUX LIBERA NOS" (I like also the video :) )

About classical music, I like Scarlatti too... It makes me think of the Rococò age.

And of course Verdi, especially "Glory to Egypt"

I was forgetting this, I was creazy about "The Barber of Seville" when I was child!

I have a certain feeling for songs dedicated to cities. Specially when the singer shows how much he can love a city by criticizing it...

Adoro i Folkstone!

Not the South Tyroleans, if anythig they had to serve Mussolini and his army wasnt exactly famous for conquering and ravaging. They didnt really like the attempt to turn them into Italians by force, cant blame them for that.
Apart from that, they are one of the better German speaking bands right now.

I think it was a homage to all the Italian westerns made by directors like Sergio Leone. Actually, Franco Nero's participation in the movie is also part of this homage.
