I was talking with some member who claimed WHG and neolithic women preffered tall steppe men, i don't know why the person said it but i suppose that it may be because the steppe haplogroups are the most common.
However it is the other way around, Steppe men preffered native European women. it is only because of rape that this phenomenon could occur.

Steppe men invaded Europe and were very warlike, it would be naiveness to think that a big part of their mixing would not have been through rape and by killing male leaders and husbands.
Even the ones who did not raped, only got European women due to tools and horse, not because of their tall heigth.
Also, WHG women and Neolithic women were more likely to give birth safely to small headed steppe babies while tall and slim steppe women could not do the same with large headed WHG or neolithic babies( gracile-meds have small head but atlanto-med and armenoid have big heads).

"The Männerbund (German: 'alliance of men') refers to the theoretical Proto-Indo-European brotherhood of warriors in which unmarried young males served for several years, as a rite of passage into manhood, before their full integration into society."

"Their activities have been understood as seasonal, with the young men returning to their home community for part of the year.[52] Their life was centred on military duties, hunting wild animals, and raiding settlements, as well as on the recitation of heroic poetry recounting the deeds of past warriors and cattle-raiding legends.[49][23] A tradition of epic poetry celebrating heroic and violent warriors conquering loot and territories, portrayed as possessions the gods wanted them to have, may have reinforced the social legitimacy of violent behaviour within the Männerbund.[50] Acts normally forbidden, such as stealing, raiding, or sexually assaulting women, were therefore tolerated amongst their members, so long as they were not directed against their own community.[53]"

On horse and tools.
"But warfare isn't the only explanation. The Yamnaya men could have been more attractive mates than European farmers because they had horses and new technologies, such as copper hammers that gave them an advantage, Goldberg says."
