No, because your DNA is closer to Sandzak references than to İstanbul references.

They absolutely shouldn’t include people like you in those samples. In the past, ethnic Kurds, Roma and Arabs were included in Turkish_Adana samples, and it took years to change the perception that created. In the end, it turned out that Adana Turks are simply Turkish, even having slightly more East Asian/Siberian ancestry than the average Turk.

Because you are not Turkish, does that mean no one else is allowed to be Turkish? What kind of logic is that? ;) You are Balkan/Slav; in your case, your cultural background brings you closer to Turks. If you have Turkish nationality, then on paper you are already Turkish. What more do you want?

Didn't your grandparents emigrate from Bosnia to Turkey in the 1960s?

But I qualify for İstanbul references since all of my 4 grandparents are from İstanbul. There are lots of people in İstanbul references whose DNA is closest to other provinces such Sivas. Therefore, why can I not be included?

Yes but they all we so young when they migrated. They are not born in İstanbul but they partially grew up there. The population records also show that they are registered in İstanbul.
