Post here your national flag, your national anthem, emblem etc.

http://willothewisp.nl/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/NLVlag_wimpel.jpg

The flag -- the orange pennant is usually only used on birthdays of members of the Royal Family, on Liberation Day and some more special days. (for the Dutch - there is a list (http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vlag_van_Nederland#Oranje_wimpel) of those days here.)

The colour orange is a symbol of the Royal Family.

The Greater Coat of Arms of the Realm or Groot Rijkswapen or Koninklijk Wapen is used by the monarch.

http://www.mieks.com/info/themas/themasimages/koninginnedag/rijkswapen.gif

The normal Rijkswapen is usually used by government agencies and also appears on the Dutch passport. The sword wielding lion is usually used a kind of national emblem.

The Dutch national anthem:

uMHbAKvPJkU

The Wilhelmus has no less then 15 stanza's forming the acrostic WILLEM VAN NASSOV in the original spelling. But normally only the first and sixth stanza are actually used or in most cases only the first.

Wilhelmus van Nassouwe
ben ik, van Duitsen bloed,
den vaderland getrouwe
blijf ik tot in den dood.
Een Prinse van Oranje
ben ik, vrij, onverveerd,
den Koning van Hispanje
heb ik altijd geëerd.

Mijn schild ende betrouwen
zijt Gij, o God mijn Heer,
op U zo wil ik bouwen,
Verlaat mij nimmermeer.
Dat ik doch vroom mag blijven,
uw dienaar t'aller stond,
de tirannie verdrijven
die mij mijn hart doorwondt.

The National Flag: the Senyera, aka the Quatribarrada (Four-Striped).

Being previous to the 12th century, it's the oldest of Europe in use.

http://neetciencia.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/senyera.jpg

This one in Valencia is the oldest extant flag in Europe (1238).

The National Anthem: Els Segadors (The Reapers)

Catalonia triumphant Shall once again be rich and bountiful Drive them back, those people So conceited and so arrogant.
A good blow with the sickle, Defenders of the land! A good blow with the sickle!
Now is the time, reapers Now is the time to be alert For when another June comes Let us sharpen our tools well.
A good blow with the sickle, Defenders of the land! A good blow with the sickle!
Let the enemy tremble On seeing our banner Just as we cut down golden stalks of wheat When the time is right, we shall reap chains.

The National Animals: The Wyvern, The Phoenix and the Catalan Donkey

The Kings of Aragon of the House of Barcelona since Peter IV used a wyvern as a crest on their helmets. Nowadays this symbol has been officially adopted as the coat of arms of the Generalitat Valenciana (Valencian Parliament and Government). Wyverns are also an important part of the mythological animals in many traditional local festivals of Catalonia.

The Phoenix was particularly symbolic of the Catalan Rebirth.

The Catalan Donkey is a very old local subspecies of donkey in danger of extinction. It has only recently been considered a national symbol and many (I included) only consider it as a way of opposing/ridiculizing the Spanish bull, not a real symbol.
