I walked past a British guy today who I thought was a complete pillock.
He was sitting in a deck chair along my local canal and he was wearing only boxer shorts and trying to sunbathe whilst most people are wearing coats due to the cold breeze in the air.
To make matters worse, he had a massive Union Jack flag http://theapricity.com/forum/images/flags/United-Kingdom.png next to him, and I thought what point is he trying to make to people on St. George's Day by displaying the UK flag? Why didn't he have an English flag http://www.theapricity.com/forum/images/buttons/flags/England.png instead with the red cross of St. George? I don't know if he was English, a Scottish unionist or a Rangers fan, Welsh, Northern Irish... but he looked very British with that pale skin type that burns in the sun.

Celebrating our national day and identity doesn't necessarily make people as a separatist, and so what if they are a separatist.
Can't we have just one day of the year to appreciate our Engllish cultural heritage, English language, English literature, English traditions, English music, English art, English sports, English films and animations and documentaries, English architecture, English cottages, English gardens, English castles, English landscape, English inventions, the Magna Carta, etc, without the UK government, politicians, and MSM trying to shame people for celebrating our national day?
The Scots, Welsh, and Irish are allowed to celebrate their identites, culture, heritage, flags, etc, so why can't the English celebrate our day too? Why can't we have an autonomous English parliament and equal rights in the UK as the Scots, Welsh, and NI have?
Very few people in England bother to say "Happy St. George's" (my relatives and friends are all silent and have never celebrated this day,) and I haven't seen anyone displaying English flags as I walked around today (for fear of arrests if they do,) and it's like people feel embarrassed or ashamed incase they're falsely branded as "far-right extremists."
The biracial British politician David Kurten always says "Happy St. George's!" and he proudly waves English flags, and he's not "far-right", but just very conservative minded and against wokeness, etc. And unlike the UK PM Keir Starmer who would pretentiously say "Happy St. George's" in his robotic, dalek, wooden, and soulless voice just as a formality to try and win votes, but who doesn't genuinely mean it, David Kurten celebrates it with passion and enthusiasm.
Nobody accuses people of being "far-right" when large crowds of people celebrate St. Patrick's.
Mind you, I live in London, but outside of London, English flags are increasingly seen on bridges, lamp posts, outside homes and pubs, etc.
Greensleeves is a popular and beloved English folk song dating back to the Tudor era.

The English are stronger with the UK then as seperate England only
A few years ago the Scottish voted against independence i was against independence
But i have nothing against displays of England flaggs and english culture but it goes well together with the british union jack and britain too
Its not a contradiction

I wouldn't have minded so much if he had displayed both a UK flag alongside an English flag on our national day, but he only displayed the UK flag.
It's like the EU trying to erase the national flags and identities of the EU states and just branding them all as Europeans (which they are,) but it's too vague and they all have their own unique cultures.
Norwegians, Swedes, Danes, are all Scandinavian, but they have their own flags and cultures.
Spanish and Portuguese are both Iberians and Mediterranean, but they also like to celebrate their own cultures and identities.
