WHG and EHG = Steppe, plains, lakes and swamps (Scandinavians, Celts, Balts, Slavs, Germanics, Finns, Hungarians)

ANF = Mediterranean sea shores and islands (Italics, Hellenics, Anatolian Turks, Armenians, Albanians, Sardinians, Cretans, Iberians)

CHG = Mountains, hills and valleys (Caucasians, Western Iranics, Eastern Iranics, Hindukush Indo-Aryans)

NHG = Deserts and rocks (Semites and Hamites)

I was going to comment on a lot of the implicit missconceptions in the approach proposed by the OP, but there are so many that I preferred not to say anything.

Knowing beforehand that all their posts present a North versus South or East versus West confrontation, with a clear bias in favor of the East and North against the West and South, I generally avoid participating in what he proposes.

EHG together with WHG, in the same group...ok...

EHG=ANE+WHG and WHG suposedly has no ANE input, so...whay both under the same label???

Better call ANE Northern Asian HG and remove EHG from the sources...

And the vast majority of Europeans will receive a percentage of their genetic makeup derived from the Yamnaya contribution and similar Bronze Age peoples, not directly from the EHG...

And so many "buts"...

But well, itīs just "for fun", you know...

Every ethnicity in Europe, including far northern europeans like Veps and Karelians, is dominantly ANF. I'm not sure about Komi, Mari, Saami, as I've never modeled them in qpadm.

Isn't this only true if you divide up the Steppe into smaller groups?

You are denying the existence of Steppe ancestry? Since you apparently don't know, Steppe ancestry is made up of EHG and CHG which is generally the primary component in many Northern European populations.

I'm just saying OP broke down europe into its Mesolithic components (WHG, EHG, CHG, ANF) and steppe wasn't a poll option
